PERSPEKTIF DOSEN DAN TENAGA KEPENDIDIKAN PADA KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT PRACTICES TERHADAP INNOVATIVE WORK BEHAVIOR PADA PERGURUAN TINGGI

Abstract

Pengetahuan adalah salah satu aspek penting dalam kemajuan bangsa. Salah satu bidang yang menggunakan pengetahuan dalam bidangnya adalah perguruan tinggi. Dari perguruan tinggi diharapkan dapat memanfaatkan pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh dosen dan tenaga kependidikan sebagai aspek penggerak perguruan tinggi. Pada penelitian ini akan diteliti mengenai bagaimana perspektif dosen dan tenaga kependidikan pada praktik manajemen pengetahuan (Knowledge Management Practices/KMP) terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif (Innovative Work Behavior/IWB). Akan diteliti apakah pengetahuan yang telah dimiliki dosen dan tenaga kependidikan turut berperan terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif yang dapat berupa inovasi untuk mengembangkan cata pembelajaran atau cara meningkatkan pelayanan dan pemberian jasa kepada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner ke beberapa perguruan tinggi. Kuesioner terdiri dari 12 pertanyaan pada variabel KMP dan 9 pertanyaan pada variabel IWB. Responden yang mengisi kuesioner ini adalah dosen dan tenaga kependidikan yang masih aktif bekerja pada perguruan tinggi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan pada 14 universitas didapatkan bahwa dosen dan tenaga kependidikan berpendapat bahwa KMP tidak berpengaruh terhadap IWB pada perguruan tinggi.
