PENGARUH KELELAHAN EMOSIONAL TERHADAP MOTIVASI KERJA DAN KEPUASAN KERJA KARYAWAN PT PELINDO IV (PERSERO) CABANG AMBON

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of emotional
exhaustion on work motivation and job satisfaction of employees
of PT Pelindo (Persero) Ambon Branch. Hypothesis testing is
done using Path Analysis. The results showed that emotional
exhaustion and significant negative effect on work motivation of
employees, emotional exhaustion has negative effect on job
satisfaction, while working motivation positive and significant
impact to the satisfaction, then emotional exhaustion is also has a
negative effect on job satisfaction through work motivation. The
study provides an understanding that if the management of PT
Pelindo IV (Persero) Ambon Branch want to increase their
employees motivation and job satisfaction then one important
effort needs to be made to reduce their levels of emotional
exhaustion. So, a refreshing programe can be done on a
regularly.
